Then we made flat clay pieces like tiles and volume that we later decorated with different techniques. During the Art and Design Week I taught the Experimental Workshop on ceramic floor design, the workshop intended to familiarize the participants with ceramic techniques and processes, offering examples from different periods and places without abandoning artisanal methods. We visited with the students the Saltillo Tile brick company, a family business that makes traditional ceramic floors. We fired all the pieces from both workshops in the ceramics classroom with the teacher Anabel Fuentes. Septemnber and October 2015.
